Carver Hotel Group and Carver-Olson Search Expand Services into Canadian Market and Prepare for United Kingdom

ATLANTA, GA – February 6, 2018 – In an aggressive growth move, Carver Hotel Group (CHG) and Carver-Olson Hospitality Search (CO) have announced the finalization of expansion of their services into Canada. The completion of this process will allow for Canadian clients to assure utilization of Canadian citizens on their assignments, to be invoiced and transact business in Canadian Dollars (CAD); and for Task Force Consultants to invoice and be paid in CAD, utilizing the same “Five Day Pay” commitment that has set Carver apart from their competitors in the United States.

In addition to finalizing the Canadian market expansion, The Carver Companies CFO Susan Hart announced a major upgrade to BIB or Business Information Bridge, Carver’s proprietary CRM platform, to allow for multi-currency transactions, paving the way for continued expansion beyond North America.

The Task Force division of CHG will begin representing Canadian Task Force professionals and aligning them with Canadian clients. An empty seat in a hotel potentially means lost revenue. CHG contract professionals eliminate that risk with their expertise and immediate proactive efforts. Depending on the need of the hotel, Carver professionals are available for time frames from two weeks to six months.

Executive search conducts customized recruiting while task force temporarily places professionals into suddenly needed roles, often as quickly as 24 hours from the time a request is received. Carver-Olson Hospitality Search will begin conducting customized recruiting to fill executive and management roles, both within hotels and corporate offices in the Canadian market.

The dynamic combination of Carver-Olson Hospitality Search and Carver Hotel Group ensures that every role is filled for clients, whether today, tomorrow or forever.

Hospitality people are needed to recruit hospitality people – that’s an important point. Within our Task Force and Search divisions, our teams consist of individuals with backgrounds in hospitality,” said Vice President and Managing Director of Search Peggy Olson. “They know the needs, the culture and how a hotel works, which better equips them to find the right candidate.”

The extension of services into Canada anchors the role of The Carver Companies as the powerhouse of hospitality focused, human capital organizations within North America.

Since our inception, our goal has been to become ‘the only name you need’ in hospitality. This move expands our reach from that position in the U.S. to throughout North America,” said Carver’s Chief Development Officer Charlene “Charley” Carter. “Strategically, we look forward to maximizing our relationships in Canada and beginning to look toward our next expansion, the United Kingdom.”
