CWT now supports Housekeeping/Food and Beverage in Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Ft Lauderdale, Miami and Orlando markets

ATLANTA, GA – February 16, 2017 – In an aggressive growth move, Carver World Temps, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Atlanta-based Carver Hotel Group and member of The Carver Companies, is bringing their revolutionary approach to contract and temporary staffing to the South Florida market. Initial focus in South Florida will include: Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Ft Lauderdale and Miami. Further expansion into the greater Orlando market is planned with that area currently operating in a pre-launch phase.

CWT is a professional staffing organization designed to provide contract solutions to the operating departments within hotel housekeeping and food & beverage areas. Since launching in the Atlanta market, in many cases, the Carver teams are outperforming individual hotel teams’ turnover rates. CWT Georgia Market Manager Daniel Pimiento credits “the Carver Culture” for this amazing achievement. “At Carver World Temps, we take a serious approach to hiring, training and orientation. After a detailed interview process, through background checks, those selected are then put through a comprehensive orientation and training process – covering everything from service etiquette to safety issues.”

Carver’s Chief Development Officer, Charlene “Charley” Carter explained that the Carver Culture touches every client and every employee offering a solid benefit package including health, dental and vision insurance at an affordable rate. In addition, the Carver Companies provide vacation, sick days and paid holidays.

“We’ve also partnered with a Credit Union to help employees establish checking and savings accounts for better and faster access to their funds,” said Pimiento. “Combine this with the fact that CWT offers one of the only 401k participations and matching funds campaigns in the temporary services industry – our folks are in it for the long haul!

Key benefits for CWT clients include:

  • Recruiting, Interviewing, Screening, Background Checks, Testing and Hiring
  • Cutting Edge Hospitality Training

In addition, the temporary and contract employees are employed by CWT, not the client hotel, so CWT will cover and manage:

  • Time Reporting
  • Payroll Processing/Payments
  • Workers Comp Insurance and Claims
  • Insurance and Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision Insurance, 401K participation, complimentary and discounted Banking services
  • Vacation/Time Off, Scheduling Coverage, PTO and Call-Outs

Positions initially supported in the South Florida market will include:

  • Professional Housekeepers
  • Tenured Housekeeping Supervisors
  • Seasoned Housepersons
  • Detail-Focused Laundry Staff
  • Experienced Line Cooks
  • Friendly Breakfast Attendants
  • Skillful Banquet Staff
