Erik Dorr, Vice President of Sales and a recent addition to the GCommerce team in 2015, embodies these characteristics and more. Understanding the importance of communication and collaboration, Erik has not only contributed to the company culture, he has brought with him an established network and the respect of his industry peers.
Pride and excitement were felt as GCommerce learned Erik received the prestigious President’s Award at the 2015 HSMAI Arizona Holiday Awards Gala in Phoenix Arizona on December 3, 2015. Honored for his leadership and dedication to the HSMAI organization and its Arizona Chapter, Erik is very much deserving of such an honor, and was presented the award by the 2015 President, Michelle Huebner, CMP of We-Ko-Pa Resort & Conference Center.
Previously the Executive Board Treasurer in 2015, the Co-Chairman of the HSMAI MPI Annual Golf Tournament, and an active volunteer for the Charity of the Year, Kitchen on the Street, Erik takes pride in his involvement with the HSMAI Arizona Chapter.
As President-Elect, Erik will take on a leadership role, not only supporting the chapter President wherever and whenever necessary, but overseeing and supporting all committees to ensure they remain on task with the chapter’s mission, identifying and developing new chapter leadership, planning the 2017 leadership training session, assisting in building the image of the chapter in the local business community, and more.
