Chhattisgarh, India, February 19, 2016 – Courtyard by Marriott Raipur today joins the growing portfolio of more than 1,000 Courtyard by Marriott hotels in more than 40 countries worldwide.  Located in the capital city of Chhattisgarh, Courtyard by Marriott Raipur is the 14th property for the brand in India, and the second in the state joining Courtyard by Marriott Bilaspur.  As Marriott International’s global leader in the upper moderate tier, Courtyard is designed for business travelers and offers a refreshing ambiance that helps guests stay connected and productive while traveling.  The brand has a vast network across India that includes: Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Agra, Bhopal, Bengaluru to Bilaspur and Kochi.

The Courtyard by Marriott Raipur boasts some of the largest rooms and suites available in Raipur, including the largest guest suite in the city at 699 square feet.  The new room design is intuitive and thoughtful, offering flexible yet comfortable spaces that accommodate all technological needs.  Signature furniture and architectural elements replace traditional art in the guestroPublishom. The “LoungeAround” sofa offers a pop of color and a comfortable area to relax or work.  The new design also features a light desk on wheels, allowing guests to work from anywhere in the room.  Each of the 96 rooms and 12 suites feature high-speed wireless internet; LED TVs; well-appointed work area with comfort lighting and ergonomic chairs, as well as alarm clock docking stations; coffee machines and signature aromatherapy bathroom amenities.  The suites offer visual alarms and notification devices for door and phone, in addition to complimentary cocktails and business services.  The property also boasts a spa centre with two well-appointed therapy rooms to provide soothing spa treatments -- affording guests the highest level of relaxation after a long day in Raipur.

Checking-in as Marriott’s first property in Raipur district, the hotel is an ideal venue for corporate and social events.  The 425-square-metre ballroom can be divided into two function space to suit events of various sizes. The hotel also offers state-of-the-art meeting facilities with a perfect backdrop to host world class corporate events, and is poised to become a one-stop destination for any and every guest.
