Dallas, US – SiteMinder and one of the US’s leading property management software providers, Innsoft, have today announced a partnership to offer a new wholly-integrated online distribution solution for hotels.

The partnership addresses a key finding in Phocuswright and h2c’s Independent Lodging Market Report, co-sponsored by SiteMinder, that independent accommodation providers in the US use technology more for transactional purposes rather than managing their online marketing and distribution.

Innsoft’s Operations Specialist, Chloe Peddicord, says, “We are very excited to partner with SiteMinder, the recognised leader in hotel online distribution. For our mutual customers, this partnership will eliminate the need for manual and complex price adjustments to update their online booking channels, as well as manual updates of their inventory and reservations which we know just can’t be managed this way if you want to keep up with the speed at which bookings happen on the Internet.”

By integrating the Check-Inn property management system by Innsoft with SiteMinder’s Channel Manager, hotels can now access more than 250 of the world’s leading hotel booking sites, and automate the live room rates, availability and reservations delivered between Check-Inn and those channels.

“Our customers can now save all the time they spend in maintaining their data – and also cost, as using SiteMinder’s Channel Manager, they no longer have to pay hefty reservation delivery fees. This is an enormous benefit. So, not only can they now streamline their business processes, they can significantly increase their online revenue and drive down their cost of acquisition at a consistent pace. What a huge competitive advantage that is,” adds Ms Peddicord.

SiteMinder is today’s leader in providing two-way integrations for property management systems, integrating with more than 100 the world over.

Speaking on the recent Independent Lodging Market Report, Bernhard Ballin, VP of Enterprise Sales for SiteMinder’s Americas region, says, “According to the study, half of the US’s independent accommodation providers use a property management system but only thirteen percent employ an integrated channel management solution at their property. What this tells us is that there are still far too many hoteliers who manually manage their data in two or more systems – and disadvantaging themselves.

“SiteMinder’s partnership with Innsoft aims to address this issue by offering another reliable and cost-effective solution for these hotels. It’s also a reflection of SiteMinder’s continued growth within the US market, that a leader like Innsoft should recognise the benefit of working closely with us to enhance business efficiencies for its already 2,000-strong customer base.”
