Newport Beach, CA—September 5, 2017—Twenty Four Seven Hotels (www.247hotels.com), a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, announces the expansion of its national portfolio with the addition of DoubleTree by Hilton LAX-El Segundo. Marking Twenty Four Seven Hotels’ foray into the Los Angeles market, the hotel is the first of four new projects slated for 2017. Continuing to strengthen its position as a sought-after hotel management company, the brand’s rapidly growing portfolio includes 19 active hotel projects through the Western U.S. and six contracted hotels currently under construction.

Catering to both business and leisure travelers, the 216-room hotel is the only full-service hotel in El Segundo—LA’s “Second City”— the aerospace capital of the world and a hotbed for industry and innovation with some of the most influential Fortune 500 companies on its doorstep. Adjacent to Silicon Beach and in close proximity to Los Angeles International Airport, the recently refreshed seven-story property is the perfect place to “land,” and the only hotel in the area that offers complimentary Uber services to-and-from the airport.

"It’s a solid benchmark for us to enter the Los Angeles market and become a part of a popular, corporate-driven community like El Segundo," said David Wani, President and Chief Executive Officer of Twenty Four Seven Hotels. "Bringing the first DoubleTree property into our portfolio is also an exciting development in our relationship with Hilton and with UHG, as they accelerate their footprint with this quality brand.”

Under the iconic Hilton brand, celebrating its centennial this year, the hotel will make every guest feel like a VIP with unparalleled service and distinct amenities such as their brand-driven, warm chocolate chip cookies, which are baked fresh daily.

On the heels of a significant upgrade, the reimagined DoubleTree by Hilton LAX-El Segundo will continue to receive improvements to the remaining rooms, along with tech updates including Whistle, a guest-oriented text messaging system. The brand new pool deck, set to be completed in early 2018, will serve as a perfect outdoor events venue. From the elegant lobby to the spacious meeting venues and guest rooms, the hotel’s new contemporary look and feel is sleek and sophisticated. Each of the thoughtfully designed rooms feature Sweet Dream Beds with luxurious linens, 37-inch flat screen televisions, contemporary wall art, vintage-inspired mirrors and work desks for the busy traveler. All six suites boast separate sitting areas with sleeper sofas in the living room.

With a farm-to-table concept in mind, the hotel is currently sourcing a new executive chef for the existing restaurant and catering operations. The property has an outdoor, heated junior Olympic-sized pool and its fitness complex has been upgraded with new equipment by Precor. The hotel also offers a 24-hour snack shop and Connectivity Center.
