InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), one of world’s leading hotel companies has signed a Management Agreement with Indroyal Hospitality Services Pvt Ltd for Crowne Plaza® Amaravati. The 300 rooms hotel will be the first IHG hotel in the city and is expected to be operational by 2024.
Amaravati, the soon to be capital of Andhra Pradesh is being rapidly developed as a world class city and is expected to attract high-value manufacturing and service industries, creating strong economic growth opportunities in the years to come. Connected to the major cities in India by land, rail and air through its neighbouring city of Vijaywada, Amaravati is expected to attract both domestic and international travellers.
Strategically located, Crowne Plaza® Amaravati will be approximately 3 kilometres from the city centre, adjacent to various government offices and the business park zone, making it a perfect destination for business travellers and a great venue for MICE events. Along with well-appointed rooms, the hotel will feature 20,000 sqft of meeting space, a business centre, outdoor pool and a gymnasium. Additionally, featuring an all-day dining outlet, a specialty restaurant, a lobby lounge and bar, the hotel will offer guests a number of food and beverage options to choose from.
