PORTLAND, ORE. (April 11, 2019) – Provenance Hotels is pleased to announce the appointment of Andy Welsh as General Manager at Portland’s Hotel Lucia. Taking the helm as General Manager, Welsh will oversee daily operations, revenue generation, cost and quality management to continue Hotel Lucia’s growth in the competitive and ever-evolving Portland marketplace.
A graduate of Oregon State University and an MBA from the Atkinson School of Management at Willamette University, Welsh brings a deep and diverse knowledge of hospitality and destination expertise to his new post at Hotel Lucia. Beginning his hospitality career with Provenance Hotels in 2011, Welsh rose through the ranks starting as a front desk agent to front desk manager at Hotel deLuxe to task force general manager. In 2018, he led the successful launch of two of Provenance’s newest hotels – Lora in Stillwater, Minnesota and The Revolution Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts.
