DALLAS, Texas (Dec. 11, 2018) – Dallas-based real estate developer HALL Group has appointed Darryl Jett as general manager of the under-construction HALL Arts Hotel, successively naming Jennifer Wasserman as director of marketing. The HALL Arts Hotel, which is set to debut in the fall of 2019, will be an art-focused hotel that channels the energy and vitality of the Dallas Arts District into an inspiring experience for travelers and locals alike.

With over 30 years of hospitality leadership experience, Darryl Jett brings a strong depth of operational background to the executive team of the HALL Arts Hotel. Jett recently served as the general manager of the W Dallas Victory Hotel and Residences, where he significantly improved market positioning over the course of five years. Jett began his hospitality career in Chicago at the Westin Michigan Avenue, where he spent over 25 years with Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Marriott International. Jett has held key roles as general manager at the W Hotel Atlanta at Perimeter Center, director of operations at the W Chicago Lakeshore and hotel manager at the Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel in Atlanta, where he improved overall operational productivity and led the recovery of the hotel from a tornado that damaged over 50 percent of the asset.

Jennifer Wasserman brings more than 20 years of hotel sales, leadership and marketing experience to the HALL Arts Hotel, with an extensive knowledge in opening and converting hotel brands in the Dallas area. Wasserman most recently served as opening director of sales and marketing at The Statler Dallas and The Highland Dallas, the inaugural property for Hilton's Curio Collection. Prior to her work with The Highland Dallas, Wasserman served as an area sales leader for several years at Marriott International, where she managed five hotels within the Downtown Dallas market. With a passion for mentorship, Wasserman served as the Director of Leadership on the board for the Dallas/Ft. Worth chapter of Meeting Professionals International, where the committee received the prestigious RISE Award for Education for the continued success and growth of the Fred H. Knieberg Mentorship Program.
