Columbus, OH (JULY 24, 2019) – Rockbridge today announced the acquisition of the 320-room Hilton Knoxville Hotel located in the heart of downtown Knoxville, Tennessee. PM Hotel Group will manage the property.
The hotel is ideally located adjacent to the Knoxville Convention Center and within walking distance of the University of Tennessee and Neyland Stadium. It is also close to many attractions, including the Knoxville Museum of Art and historic Market Square. Its proximity to downtown Knoxville provides guests with easy access to a variety of historic landmarks, a vibrant arts, theatre and culinary scene, and a short drive to the Great Smokey Mountains National Park.

Hotel features include the Marble City Kitchen restaurant, the Firefly outdoor bar and lounge, Starbucks, more than 14,500 SF of meeting space including a 7,000 SF ballroom, 24-hour fitness center, and pool. A renovation is planned which will touch many aspects of the property, including guest rooms and suites, lobby areas, and exterior. Timing to be determined.
The acquisition is the third property for Rockbridge in the Knoxville market, with the company having recently acquired The Tennessean and the Holiday Inn Knoxville Downtown. The hotel will remain a Hilton branded property.
