NEW YORK, NY – December 11, 2019 – Arthouse Hotel New York City announces the appointment of Ross Fatemi as Director of Sales & Marketing. Fatemi joins Arthouse to lead the Upper West Side boutique hotel’s sales and marketing efforts and play an active role in its multi-million-dollar renovation slated for 2020.

In this role Fatemi will help drive top-line revenue and guest satisfaction for the hotel’s 285 rooms, multiple food and beverage outlets including the Arthouse Wine Bar, RedFarm and Serafina restaurants, and two rooftop terraces as well as 2500sq. ft. of meetings and event space. Fatemi will implement experiential programming that highlights the Upper West Side’s unique arts and culture scene from live music and comedy nights to art workshops with local artists. Fatemi will also be activity involved in the planning of the hotel’s exciting renovation and transformation.

Bringing a strong background in group and event sales, Fatemi was most recently Director of Sales & Marketing at the Sheraton Miami Airport Hotel & Executive Meeting Center. No stranger to the boutique luxury lifestyle product, Fatemi was formerly Director of Catering & Convention Services with W Hotels for over a decade, receiving many awards and distinctions during his tenure including Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ Catering Director of the Year.

Arthouse Hotel’s renovation plans include revitalization of the property’s guestrooms, public areas, and event spaces and featured a reimagined design reflecting the Upper West Side’s chic and intimate sophistication and pays homage to the building’s storied legacy. Many of Arthouse Hotel’s historic architectural elements, including its original wood burning fireplace and 1920s French elevator will be incorporated in the meticulous redesign and will reaffirm the property’s indelible presence in the Upper West Side.
