The unique fixture sale will feature many historic and iconic pieces sure to entice collectors and designers alike given the deeply discounted prices. Built over a century ago, Hotel Wales was formerly known as the Hotel Chastiagneray, a popular stomping ground for flappers, tycoons and returning WWII war heroes. Remnants of the hotels long history include marble-stepped staircase, exquisitely decorated dark wood fireplaces with Beaux-Arts details, and the ornately-carved wrought iron banister.

The 92-room boutique hotel was once considered one of New York City’s most charming places to stay, located just steps from Central Park, the Museum Mile and Madison Avenue’s famous stores. After four name changes over one hundred years it became the Hotel Wales in 2000. Its earlier names included Hotel Bibo, Hotel Bon Ray, the Carnegie Hill Hotel and the Hotel Wales.
