Paramount Lodging Advisors (PLA) is pleased to welcome three new team members to PLA, Andrew Makhlouf, Eric Gunderson, and Mason McDavid. All three individuals bring with them a unique set of skills that will continue to benefit and enhance the services that PLA provides to their clients.
Andrew is based out of PLA’s Chicago HQ and is licensed to practice law in Illinois. Prior to joining PLA, Andrew exclusively worked as counsel representing clients in commercial and real estate transactions and other business-related activities. Mr. Makhlouf has a vast knowledge on all aspects of the real estate transaction process with experience representing a wide variety of clients; from individuals, to businesses. Andrew’s focus includes both individual and portfolio transactions spreading across the United States.
Mason McDavid has joined Managing Director Kami Burnette at PLA’s Austin, TX office. Mason previously worked as a Real Estate Analyst in New York where he participated in the planning, designing and pricing of over $15 billion of new development residential real estate. He also has extensive experience in market research, and has worked with companies representing various asset classes across the board. Mr. McDavid’s concentration at PLA is in the Southern region.
Eric Gunderson has officially joined Scott Griemsmann and Subu Thiagarajan in PLA’s West Coast office in California. Eric will be spearheading our Los Angeles office and will be focusing on transactions in all asset classes throughout the West Coast. Mr. Gunderson brings13 years of experience to his new role.

The company is headquartered in their newly constructed office building in Chicago, IL, with team members and offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco, CA, New York, NY, Austin, TX, Des Moines, IA, Fairfield, CT, Orlando, FL, Phoenix, AZ, Sidney, MT, St. Louis, MO, and Washington, D.C.
