Charlotte, NC – Marriott International Inc. (NASDAQ: MAR) and Charlotte-based Shreeji Hotel Group have partnered to break ground this week on a 126-room hotel near Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The flag, SpringHill Suites by Marriott, is the largest all-suites upscale hotel brand in North America, featuring modern décor and a refreshing customer experience.

SpringHill Suites by Marriott is a versatile brand that can simultaneously serve the high corporate demand and transient airport passengers, as the brand has perfected evolving to guest needs,” said Akshar Patel, CFO and partner at Shreeji Hotel Group.
Located at 2223 Cascade Pointe Boulevard, just minutes away from Charlotte Douglas International Airport, the SpringHill Suites will also serve the 1.7 million square feet office park across the street built by Childress Klein. The five-story hotel sits on a 5.7-acre site that will include a second soon-to-be announced luxury brand hotel.
The SpringHill Suites will have hotel furniture specially designed by West Elm furniture, providing our guests with an unforgettable experience of elegant style. A partnership with Society6 will help to curate a gallery in the lobby of local artists, allowing our guests to immerse themselves in our community’s art and culture.
There are 458 SpringHill Suites open in North American and more than 200 under development.
