CHICAGO (Nov. 4, 2020) – Industry veteran Tim Brown, who brings a proven track record of leadership in hotel and resort development with tenures at a number of large corporations, has been named Chief Development Officer for Great Wolf Resorts, Great Wolf Resorts CEO Murray Hennessy announced today.

Brown, who begins his new duties as CDO in early December, will lead Development for Great Wolf Resorts at a time when the Company is poised to expand its “paw print” nationally.

As we look to expand the Great Wolf Lodge resort experience to new markets, and make significant investments into our existing resort locations, we are excited to have Tim join our Pack,” said Hennessy.  “We already have a strong Development team in place, and with Tim’s leadership abilities and breadth of experience, he will add tremendous value as we continue our impressive growth trajectory.”

Brown honed his development expertise across several brands. He most recently was Global Head of Construction for Hyatt Hotels Corp. Prior to Hyatt, Brown oversaw the development of approximately $1 billion in real estate as Executive VP Development for Turnberry Associates, a Florida-based company that develops, owns and operates hotels, malls/retail centers, office buildings and condominium projects. Before joining Turnberry, Brown managed resort projects globally as Senior VP Development for Kerzner International. Earlier in his career, Brown held roles with a multi-disciplinary engineering company, a general contractor and the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company prior to the Marriott acquisition.

Brown received his undergraduate degree from Tufts University and an advanced degree from MIT. He enjoyed long sporting careers in hockey and rugby and remains an avid cyclist.
