The AC Hotel Missoula Downtown merges the brand’s Spanish roots with the essence of Missoula by showcasing locally-made art pieces curated from Radius Art Gallery that emphasize the geologic nature-based concept of the hotel while also highlighting the character of its urban downtown location.
Designed by SERA Architects, the new property successfully marries the European hotel soul to the casualness of its Downtown Missoula surroundings, speaking to the business traveler. The custom-designed interior spaces are inspired by human and animal traffic patterns across the natural landscape and are executed through materials referencing the local landscapes. A sophisticated, neutral finish palette becomes the backdrop for textural explorations: vertical wood tambour with integrated lighting creates the illusion of paths that traverse from the wall to the ceiling; ceiling baffles above reception and the bar imitate the movement of the water and elegant stone intermingles with metal and glass to create a glowing, polished geode at the bar.

The AC Hotel Missoula Downtown features 105 thoughtfully designed guest rooms distributed over six floors. Each guest room has a 55-inch flat-screen SMART television with access to streaming content, an integrated work desk, seating area, and a sleek bathroom featuring rainfall showerheads and Korres amenities. The property also features 935 square feet of high-tech meeting space for up to 65 people. Additional amenities include a 24/7 state-of-the-art fitness studio, valet parking for hotel guests and visitors who need parking to access the downtown area, and complimentary Wi-Fi in the lobby and public spaces.
The modern, open lobby space showcases a collection of inviting furnishings and offers an innovative beverage and food program within the AC Lounge. The bar menu features expertly-made signature cocktails and a nightly ritual unique to this location, in addition to local microbrews and craft beers, a globally-inspired selection of wines, and a menu of small plates and locally sourced treats. Created by F&B Manager Jennifer Engle, the signature AC Lounge Ritual cocktail, The Josephine Doody, features Glacier Distillery’s Josephine’s Moonshine.
The 7R Bar, located on the rooftop of the AC Hotel, is slated to open in early Summer 2021 and will be the premier public rooftop bar in Missoula. Guests will be able to enjoy the entire beverage and food menus while taking in impressive views of downtown Missoula and the surrounding scenic landscape.
The AC Kitchen serves an elevated, European-inspired breakfast spread with a selection of freshly baked croissants from the local Le Petit Bakery, Spanish egg tarts, freshly sliced artisan prosciutto from a signature Berkel slicer, Nespresso coffee, and more.
