A Sonoma County native, Ty has been immersed in the hospitality industry for over 25 years and possesses a vast knowledge and familiarity of the region, a benefit to both visiting guests and locals alike. As part of his new role, Accornero will oversee all property operations, including 68 guest rooms and suites, Spa Alila and Fitness Center, over 5,500 square feet of meetings and events space and the exceptional signature restaurant, Acacia House.
A recognized veteran and leader in luxury hospitality, Ty will lead the reopening of Alila Napa Valley as General Manager. After years of working with prestigious brands such as Kimpton, W Hotels and Hilton, Ty journeyed to Yountville in 2011 and joined forces with Palisades Hospitality to transform and re-launch the former Hotel Luca, now the North Block Hotel, earning incredible accolades including Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best #1 Resort Hotel in California (2019, 2020) and Condé Nast Traveler’s #1 Reader’s Choice in Northern California (2018), before accepting his new management role at Alila Napa Valley. As General Manager, Ty will act as a key leader during the safe reopening, defining the property’s refined yet approachable service and fine-tuning its exceptional amenities and offerings.
