November 5, 2021 – With an anticipated opening for February 2022, Hotel Tupelo has announced two key additions to its leadership team: Danielle Del-Grande, General Manager, and Jessica Hollinger, Director of Sales. The first boutique hotel in Elvis Presley’s birthplace of Tupelo, MS will be located in the heart of the city’s Fairpark District, and will feature 79 spacious, urban-inspired guest rooms and suites.
Del-Grande brings 12 years of hospitality management experience in both sales and operations to Hotel Tupelo. A graduate of Mississippi State University, her résumé includes stints with Peachtree Hospitality Management (where she was named 2019 Sales Leader of the Year), Choice Hotels (where she received the National Gold Hotel Award and Rookie of the Year honors), the historic Mill Conference Center and Tupelo’s Hilton Garden Inn. Boasting deep Tupelo roots, she served on the BancorpSouth Coliseum Commission, helping promote Tupelo’s 10,000-seat arena, and is a member of the Community Development Foundation’s Ambassador program. An avid traveler and foodie, Danielle is proud to be back home to provide visitors with an exceptional Tupelo experience by showcasing the city’s local partners and unique culture.
Jessica Hollinger found her passion for Tupelo and the hospitality industry in her first job at the Downtown Tupelo Main Street Association. Her subsequent career took her to Dallas, TX, where she worked as the Westin Stonebriar Hotel and Golf Club as Executive Meetings Manager. Her family returned to Tupelo in 2021, where she served as Director of Sales for the Hilton Garden Inn prior to joining the opening team with Hotel Tupelo as Director of Sales. A graduate of Mississippi State University, Jessica attended the prestigious Disney College Program in Orlando, FL. She later received a scholarship from the Tupelo Convention & Visitors Bureau to attend the Southeast Tourism Society Marketing College where she completed the Tourism Marketing Professional certification in 2018.
