Nashville, Tenn., – Marine & Lawn Hotels & Resorts names Phillip Allen as President. Most recently serving as Chief Development Officer, International Markets at Adventurous Journeys (AJ) Capital Partners, Allen will drive the continued growth and success of the collection of bespoke hotels located in the world’s most distinguished golf destinations. In connection with the assumption of this new role, Allen will be temporarily relocating to the United Kingdom.

Allen played an instrumental role in driving the international expansion of both Marine & Lawn and Graduate Hotels. In this position he focused on identifying target markets, underwriting acquisition opportunities, negotiating purchases and overseeing the closing process. During Allen’s tenure, AJ Capital Partners created the Marine & Lawn collection, and acquired four Marine & Lawn properties and two U.K. Graduate Hotels properties.

Each property is in a world class golf and leisure destination, and includes locally inspired design, food and beverage concepts from White Rabbit Projects and best-in-class spas and in-room amenities. Under Allen’s leadership, the brand will relaunch historic properties Marine Troon in spring 2022 and Slieve Donard in 2023.
