ORLANDO, Fla. (May 25, 2022) – The Orlando Bonnet Creek properties of Hilton Hotels is pleased to announce the appointment of Ryan Fitzgerald as General Manager for Waldorf Astoria Orlando. In this role, Fitzgerald will lead the team in all aspects of hotel operations, from marketing and hotel administration to guest services and satisfaction for the 502-room, award-winning luxury resort.

Ryan Fitzgerald’s career spans more than 20 years of varied experience in all aspects of hotel management from rooms operations to food and beverage management. Fitzgerald began his hotel career at Los Angeles’ famed Beverly Wilshire, a Four Seasons Hotel, where he excelled in several leadership roles in the rooms’ division. He then went on to spend nearly a decade on the Hawaiian Islands, where he held multiple executive positions at The Kahala Hotel & Resort in Honolulu and the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel & Bungalows on the Kohala Coast. Most recently, Fitzgerald was the Hotel Manager of the Loews Philadelphia Hotel, where he successfully served as interim general manager for the property and achieved record-breaking hotel performance results for two consecutive years.
Prior to joining Waldorf Astoria Orlando, Fitzgerald was with the Arizona Biltmore, a Waldorf Astoria Resort, where he spent six years serving as Resort Manager for the 701-guest room luxury resort. During his tenure, the resort earned numerous accolades including Hilton’s Luxury Hotel of the Year 2017, Hilton’s 2021 Luxury Food & Beverage Award of Excellence and the North America 2021 Spa Award of Excellence. Fitzgerald also played an integral role in leading the operational coordination of the hotel’s recent $80 million property-wide renovation, repositioning and relaunch.
