Hospitality’s award-winning digital tipping platform to host timely discussions in Booth 2007 on hot topics surrounding hotel technology and the challenges they solve

Chicago — June 16, 2022 — This month at HITEC Orlando, six personalities from the biggest hospitality podcast network, Hospitality.FM, will broadcast LIVE from the youtip Booth #2007 to discuss trending topics – including the rise of digital tipping in today’s cashless economy. The podcasters will lead conversations with some of the industry’s biggest and brightest leaders as they share their stories and report the news related to how hotel/travel technology is evolving.

“We are really excited to be partnering with Hospitality.FM in bringing such entertaining and educational conversations to HITEC,” said Sarah Taveprungsenukul, youtip co-founder and chief commercial officer. “This partnership has come together because youtip and Hospitality.FM understand the impact we as a community can make when we come together to listen, share, and embrace each other’s ideas on how to make our industry better for generations to come. People attending HITEC may not know Hospitality.FM and the personalities behind it, such as Wil Slickers (Slick Talk), Steve Turk (The Hospitality Mentor), Stephanie Leger and Michele Kline (WTF! Walk The Floors), Brian Hamaoui and Matthew Loney (GuestX). But as an avid listener of these podcasters, I’ve learned so much and want to introduce these new educational resources to my peers.

“The industry’s labor shortage and how operators and solution providers are tackling it will certainly be a hot podcast topic during the show, as hoteliers are finding that their current practices may not be the best way to recruit, retain, and reward their employees,” Taveprungsenukul added. “So, what are the alternatives? Listen in on Hospitality.FM or come to Booth 2007 to find out. We hope everyone finds this LIVE broadcast format both fun and informative.”

•  WTF! Walk The Floors Podcast is led by hospitality industry leaders Stephanie Leger and Michele Kline. •  GuestX Podcast will explore the Guest Xperience in the hospitality industry. Host Brian Hamaoui & Matthew Loney will uncover a mixture of technologies and human-driven initiatives that are raising expectations and forever changing the Guest Xperience across the hospitality sector.

“Hospitality.FM is delighted to partner with youtip and bring these podcasters to HITEC Orlando to ask attendees powerful questions and amplify their voices to make sure everyone has a great source of what is happening with hotel technology on a global scale,” said Slickers, founder of Hospitality.FM. “After two long years of little to no in-person events, getting to be in the youtip booth with like-minded people, operators, and thought leaders is exciting! Remote work/travel has changed the game for a lot of us, but nothing beats in-person facetime and the power of human connection.”

The Hospitality Mentor’s Turk had this to say: “We pride ourselves on telling the story of how careers and companies take shape. We hope to inspire the next wave of hospitality tech companies to create and know they have mentors they can look to for help. We are excited to shine a light on companies that can help make the life of hospitality professionals easier and more efficient. We hope it inspires listeners to try new technology that can help improve the guest and team experience.”
