BOSTON, MA, December 1, 2022 – Fairmont Copley Plaza announces the appointment of Tabish Siddiquie to the position of General Manager. In this role, Mr. Siddiquie will direct the operation of Fairmont Copley Plaza, a landmark hotel located in Boston’s Back Bay featuring 383 luxurious guest rooms and suites, the award-winning restaurant OAK Long Bar + Kitchen, and a wealth of grand ballrooms and meeting space.

Mr. Siddiquie brings close to 25 years of hospitality experience and expertise in luxury brand and hotel management to this role. His most recent position was General Manager, The Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club. He joined in August 2020 to oversee hotel & club operations, including a comprehensive renovation and repositioning of the luxury resort.
Prior, Mr. Siddiquie cultivated an impressive career with The Ritz-Carlton. His leadership spanned numerous properties within the brand’s luxury portfolio globally, including the positions of General Manager in Denver and Hotel Manager in San Francisco, plus Interim General Manager in Cleveland. Additional brand experience with The Ritz-Carlton has included the roles of Director of Operations (Kazakhstan), Executive Assistant Manager – Food & Beverage (Abu Dhabi and Sarasota), and various Food & Beverage and Event Management positions (Grand Cayman and Cleveland).
A graduate of the Institute of Hotel Management in Goa, India, Mr. Siddiquie holds a diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology. He is fluent in multiple languages including Hindi and Urdu, plus basic Russian and Konkani. Mr. Siddiquie will reside in the Greater Boston area and be joined by his wife and their two children. He looks forward to exploring the city’s growing restaurant scene, hiking Boston area trails with his family, and watching Boston’s professional sports teams in person.
