Hailing from Florida, Hart Brings Close to 10 Years of Hospitality & Sales Experience

MACON, Ga. (April 4, 2023) – Hotel Forty Five has announced the appointment of Grant Hart as its new director of sales. As a trusted teammate of Mainsail Lodging & Development, Hart brings her expertise in customer-service and strategic sales management to the heart of Macon, Georgia.

Hart will join the Hotel Forty Five team to further cultivate relationships throughout the community and bring locals and travelers alike to experience the spirit of historic Downtown Macon. Hart will facilitate with booking room blocks for corporate and leisure groups as well as spearheading leads for the hotel’s lavish 1,600 square feet of event space, including The Redding Room and The Rhythm & Blues Ballroom. As an avid music lover with knowledge of the industry, Hart looks forward to integrating her passions by being a part of a historic hotel in a community with a deep-rooted musical legacy.

With almost a decade of hospitality experience, Hart has worked in key markets across Florida, including Tampa, Fort Myers, Tallahassee, Anna Maria Island and Dunedin. She has spent over six years with Mainsail Lodging & Development working with unique, diverse properties. Most recently, Hart worked as senior sales manager for Luminary Hotel & Co., a beautiful waterfront hotel overlooking the Caloosahatchee River in downtown Fort Myers. In this position, Hart built and maintained strong relationships within the community, connecting visitors to the rich culture and eclectic history of Fort Myers through world-class accommodations, dining, meeting spaces and its very own Caloosa Sound Convention Center & Amphitheater.

Other previous roles with Mainsail Lodging & Development include her position as destination sales executive for Waterline Villas & Marina in Anna Maria Island, a sophisticated and stylish boutique hotel located on one of Florida’s most unique barrier islands. As part of the opening executive team, Hart developed sales and service standards to ensure a successful opening. Hart also worked as cluster group sales manager, where she negotiated, sold and contracted group business for all Mainsail properties.

Additional experience includes her role as director of sales for the Hilton Garden Inn Tampa, Ybor Historic District where she found creative ways to market the hotel during the COVID-19 pandemic. She spent two years with Hotel Duval in Tallahassee, growing from supervisor at LeRoc Bistro to assistant banquet manager to group sales and catering coordinator. Hart graduated from Florida State University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and minor in hospitality management. Previously volunteering for WMNF Community Radio in Tampa, ZooTampa at Lowry Park and Tampa Theatre WineFest, she looks forward to getting involved in Macon’s vibrant community.
