Under Farstadās leadership, his hotels have been recognized on several occasions, including when the TPS Marriott Sudbury won the 2019 Revenue Performance Team of the Year from the Hotel Association of Canada. Most recently, Farstad collaborated in creating the not-for-profit tourism organization Saskatoon Destination Marketing Hotels and their partnership with the newly branded āDiscover Saskatoonā to increase travel and revenue for the city.
