West Palm Beach, Florida – August 8, 2023 – Located in the heart of Downtown West Palm Beach, Hilton West Palm Beach has brought unparalleled ambience, service and experiences to the Palm Beaches for the last seven years, making it a favorite among travelers. A beacon for hospitality, the award-winning hotel will debut a fully transformative renovation this fall.

An established leader in hosting groups, travelers and locals alike, and directly connected to the Palm Beach County Convention Center, the 12-story hotel has acted as an ambassador for the destination by hosting numerous events for global brands. Featuring nature-inspired interiors by the globally recognized New York City–based design boutique, Meyer Davis Studio, the renovation is set to encompass all guestrooms, four dining destinations, pool deck and interiors with a new design that will emulate a tropical oasis in a refined city retreat.

“Hilton West Palm Beach opened in 2016, quickly changing the hospitality landscape and group offerings in West Palm Beach. As we emerge from the renovation, we are looking forward to continuing to evolve with the community and remain a premiere resort-style destination for business and leisure travelers,” says Derrick Steinour, Director of Sales and Marketing for Hilton West Palm Beach.

Guestrooms and Suites

Inspired by the beauties of nature, the refreshed accommodations were designed to evoke a sense of serenity by incorporating neutral tones, marble countertops and luxe finishes.  The 400 reimagined rooms, including 43 suites, will feature stylish touches, artful designs and floor-to-ceiling windows that pour in natural light to offer lively city or tranquil poolside views.

Common Spaces

When entering the revamped lobby, guests will be welcomed by a tropical haven with floor-to-ceiling views of the hotel’s landscaped pool deck,  fresh designs boasting an abundance of greenery and a modern chandelier that leads into art-paneled walls, eliciting a sense of decadence. The focal point of the renovated space is the lobby bar, a sophisticated new gathering place.

Palm trees and lush landscapes will encompass the reimagined pool deck, creating a secluded escape for guests. The six, newly-constructed private cabanas will feature personal televisions, a stocked mini refrigerator, private lounge chairs and a dedicated server for groups to host brainstorming sessions, intimate team conversations and more. Surrounded by colorful flora and fauna, the nature-inspired theme continues through the pool deck with refined elements including teak chaise lounges, plush daybeds and a poolside bar.

Led by Executive Chef Rodrigo Mezadri, the hotel’s award-winning dining destination will introduce new dishes and experiences across three restaurants, lobby bar, and café aimed to continue attracting groups, visitors and locals.

Art

Eaton Fine Art, an award-winning full-service art consultancy firm based in Austin, Texas, collaborated with Related Companies and Hilton West Palm Beach to curate an art collection from local artists and creatives from underrepresented communities that draws inspiration from the rich scenery of West Palm Beach. Galley showcases an art collection that includes black-and-white photography of native wildlife by Florida-based photographer Liesl Marelli, images by Christina Cernik of surrounding palm trees and portraits from Bahamian photographer Blair Meadows. Selected artwork in the newly redesigned suites include drawings by Mark Rebennack that resemble waves, paintings from Cuban-American visual artist Juan Alonso-Rodríguez and mixed media collages by Kaylee Dalton that showcase the lush plant life of West Palm Beach.

The art team also installed the custom metal wall art behind the concierge desk in the lobby, which features hand-forged iron by an additional local artist. The artwork’s organic shape mimics an ocean wave, with each individual piece acting as a ripple in the tide. The copper hue complements the ceiling panels etched with leaf contours, giving another nod to the hotel’s location. Further enhancing the arrival experience, the backlit lobby installation design was inspired by local flora and carved into a wood veneer with a frosted acrylic backing to let the light shine through, extending from floor to ceiling behind the reception desks and then 40’ across the ceiling.

Experiences

Guests will experience curated programming ranging from fitness and wellness to arts and culture. Enhanced activations will include meditative sound healing, scavenger hunts, poolside sessions, book clubs, weekly fitness classes and more. For culinary enthusiasts, Galley’s cocktail classes and wine dinners will provide an intimate learning experience, allowing groups and guests a taste of the caliber of talent represented.

The hotel’s central locality provides guests access to live like a local, as it is situated steps from the city’s most visited outdoor destination bustling with new restaurants, retail and cultural entertainment, The Square. Hilton West Palm Beach is also surrounded by Downtown’s Art & Entertainment, including the nearby Kravis Center for the Performing Arts and Norton Museum of Art.
