CANCUN, Mexico and MCLEAN, Va. – September 22, 2023 – Hilton announced the appointment of Alejandro Larrondo as general manager of the 540-room Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe All-Inclusive Resort, expected to join Hilton’s all-inclusive portfolio on October 23rd 2023. A hospitality industry veteran with 24 years of experience, Larrondo most recently served as a multi-property general manager at Santiago Marriott & Courtyard Santiago Las Condes, where he led a complex team supporting two unique brands. His career spanning over two decades began in 1998 as a guest service agent. Since then, his experience has encompassed ample roles and responsibilities in hotel sales, revenue management, brand development and operations, as well as a stint as director on the Chile Tourism Board. In the Caribbean region, Larrondo led the team at JW Marriott Santo Domingo in Dominican Republic for four years.
Larrondo holds a business administration degree from INACAP University in Chile and a Master of Business Administration with a focus on hotel management from Esden Business School by the Universidad de Santander in Spain.
