Accor, the world’s leading hotel group, and Allenort Group have signed an agreement for a new hotel and service complex in Gdynia. The planned hotel investment, representing Mövenpick standard, will be situated in the very center of the city, by the sea, in the most prestigious part of Gdynia. The future facility will offer high-quality hotel services to tourists and business guests, featuring 176 rooms with a rich F&B offer, conference and banquet halls, a spa with a pool and treatment rooms, as well as underground parking. The investor received business advisory support from the HIDA Company.

Accor is boosting the Swiss premium brand’s ambitious portfolio in Poland with this new partnership. Together with the Allenort Group with years of experience in the medical industry, the chain will open the first Mövenpick in Gdynia as part of a hotel-service complex.
Allenort Group expands its operation to the hospitality industry. After almost 20 years of active operations in the medical sector, the company is setting a new premium challenge – a large luxury hotel and service complex in the most prestigious location in Gdynia. The premise of the investment is to create a new city center and give the residents of Gdynia a leisure infrastructure that is friendly to their lives, said Dr. Grzegorz Goryszewski President of Allenort Group. We are betting on Accor – this is a unique place, and that’s why it needs to be given to the best professionals to manage. The project for the development of the central part of Skwer Kościuszki was selected through a competition after a thorough analysis of the works of many candidates.
The complex, located at 13 Jana Pawla II Avenue, will consist of two buildings connected by an above-ground walkway, Mövenpick Hotel Gdynia with 176 rooms, and Waterhall Residence apartments.
Mövenpick Hotel Gdynia, equipped with an underground parking lot, is planned to have space for two restaurants, a sky bar, a conference center with a total area of 460 sqm, and a spa area with an indoor pool and treatment rooms.
The location and character of the new facility perfectly correspond to the vision of hospitality promoted by the Mövenpick brand, which derives from the tradition of Swiss hospitality. The hotel and residence complex being built by our partner gracefully relates to the architectural identity of Gdynia and will undoubtedly become one of the most distinctive elements of its waterfront. I am convinced that Mövenpick Hotel Gdynia will appeal to travelers from all over the world who visit the Tri-City in large numbers, said Jacek Stasikowski, Accor Development Director in Poland.
Mövenpick Hotel Gdynia will occupy a plot of land located on the first line of the waterfront, at the representative Kosciuszko Square – at the entrance to the South Pier, where the sailing ship Dar Pomorza and the destroyer ORP Blyskawica are moored. Right next door are the Marina Gdynia and the city beach. Thus, the new hotel will join the most attractively located investments of its kind on the entire Polish coast. The lump of the designed building is a nod to the best architectural patterns of Gdynia, whose early-modern center was officially submitted earlier this year as a Polish candidate for inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
We look forward to the moment when Mövenpick Hotel Gdynia welcomes its first guests. Our facilities will perfectly fit into the modernist landscape of the city and meet the expectations of modern travelers and residents. Thanks to our cooperation with the Accor Group, we will not only offer world-class services but also implement the sustainable development solutions developed by our partner, added Dr. Grzegorz Goryszewski President of the Allenort Group.
The newly built Mövenpick Hotel Gdynia will welcome its first guests as early as 2026, according to the plan. Mövenpick is a premium brand belonging to the Accor Group, known for its sustainable approach to leisure and excellent food and beverage offerings, whose portfolio currently includes more than 110 properties worldwide – both city hotels and resorts located in top tourist destinations. Hailing from Switzerland, the brand is increasingly making its presence felt in Poland.
