RIVIERA MAYA, MX (August 22, 2024) – Andaz Mayakoba announced the appointment of Susan Williams as director of sales and marketing for the 214-room, luxury oceanfront resort in the heart of Riviera Maya. Williams brings a wealth of experience to the award-winning property with over 20 years of experience spanning sales, revenue marketing both at Hyatt and numerous other resorts throughout Mexico.

This marks Williams’ return to Hyatt after most recently serving as the director of sales and marketing at Viceroy Los Cabos in San Jose del Cabo. During her previous tenure with Hyatt, Williams held numerous positions, including director of global sales where she represented 900 hotels globally and oversight of group and transient sales and previously managed sales and marketing for individual hotels including Thompson Zihuatanejo and Hyatt Regency properties in Boston and Boston Harbor.
Williams brings unique knowledge of both the global brand as well as the Mexico market to this role, where she’ll strategically use this insight to drive hotel performance and commercial strategy.
