(Network of Executive Women in Hospitality), a premier association committed to scholarships, advancing education, mentorship, and networking in the hospitality industry, will proudly celebrate its 40th anniversary at BDNY 2024, held at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City. The organization will award multiple scholarships and accolades to hospitality professionals during engaging events from November 8-11, 2024.

The organization will honor Diana Dobin, Co-CEO & Chief Sustainability Officer at Valley Forge Fabrics, as the 2024 ICON of Industry at the Gold Key Awards. With over 30 years in hospitality manufacturing, Dobin is recognized for her leadership, innovation, and community outreach, as well as her role as a mentor and advisor since joining NEWH in 1995.
NEWH invites members of the hospitality community to experience educational and networking opportunities their booth, #773, on Sunday, November 10. “That’s HER Story: A Celebration of Unsung Design Pioneers” will highlight female designers throughout history. Green Voice sessions are set to explore topics including adaptive reuse and two competition scholarship presentations while an EID presentation will cover the celebration of diversity and equity. A session on “How to Get Hired” will benefit students on the job hunt.
On Sunday, November 10 at 4 PM, NEWH will commemorate its 40th anniversary with a celebratory toast, uniting participants from the NEWH Scholarship Alumni Circle and Martha’s Mentors Program—a transformative 10-month initiative conceived to connect emerging hospitality professionals with seasoned industry leaders.
