As of 3/21/13, GT McDonald Enterprises is the general contractor for this project. A representative from Courtyard Miami Beach Oceanfront confirmed the tower will be finished in August 2013.
May 29, 2012
On 5/29/12, a representative from the Courtyard Miami Beach Oceanfront confirmed that Kobi Karp Architecture & Interior Design is the architect for this project. Additionally, they stated that site work has begun.
November 16, 2011
On 11/16/11, a representative from Hersha Hospitality stated that they are working with a few different architects at this time, but can not release the names of the companies working on the project. When they are ready for a general contractor it will go to a public bid. Construction is estimated to start in April 2012.

As of 11/9/11, Hersha Hospitality Trust has purchased the hotel and has announced plans for the new project.
