Fashionable Guestroom Retreats and New Restaurant among Highlights

PRINCETON, N.J. – October 30, 2013Davidson Hotels & Resorts, one of the nation’s largest independent management companies, announces the completion of the multimillion dollar, hotel-wide transformation of Hyatt Regency Princeton. Davidson, which has managed the hotel since 2011, oversaw the renovations. The stunning makeover of Hyatt Regency Princeton introduces a fresh, fashionable look and feel that prevails throughout – from the inviting lobby and the impressive six-story atrium to the expanded flexible meeting space and 330 revitalized signature guestroom retreats and suites.

“This much needed update was really dictated by customer demand,” said Dianne Pepe, director of sales and marketing for Hyatt Regency Princeton. “We’re ecstatic for our guests to revel in this new look and feel. We also have a terrific package to offer that will give them even greater value when they stay with us.”

Surrounded by relaxing water and koi ponds, a new, 175-seat restaurant, named Artisan Kitchen & Lounge, serves small plates of Mediterranean fare to share, complimented by a variety of enticing entrees and daily specials. Homemade spirits, club-style seating, and seven flat screen televisions adorn the lounge, the perfect spot for unwinding or celebrating at the end of the day. Catch a Rising Star comedy club still provides terrific top tier entertainment, but in a refreshed atmosphere.

All 330 guestroom-retreats were fully refurbished with new carpet and furnishings fashioned in an earth-tone decor for ultimate relaxation. The fitness center and indoor pool were also revamped.

The hotel’s flexible meeting space now totals 32,000 square feet and can accommodate events for 10 to 1,200 attendees. Highlights include an intimate, all-glass private dining room for parties and chef events; a 4,300 square-foot Junior Ballroom ideal for rehearsal dinners or social gatherings; a state-of-the-art business center; and a total of 30 meeting rooms. Eleven new meeting/breakout rooms are located on a dedicated wing of the hotel’s main level. Named for different Ivy League universities, each of the 11 meeting rooms ranges from 600 to 700 square feet and features a 10 ft. high ceiling as well as an abundance of natural light.

In conjunction with the transformation, Hyatt Regency Princeton is offering a special Awaken with Breakfast for Two package that allows guests to ease into their day without the rush to check out. Perfect for couples visiting the local attractions, taking in a football game or exploring the region, the package includes overnight accommodations plus a full American Breakfast Buffet featuring a wide selection of tasty treats. Rates start at just $199.
