CINCINNATI – Winegardner and Hammons, Inc. (WHI) is proud to announce the promotion of Jason Kreul to senior vice president – operations, after serving as vice president – food & beverage since 2011. Jason is responsible for overall hotel operations in addition to overseeing an industry best management team.
“We are pleased to announce this well-deserved promotion for Jason Kreul,” said Mike Conway, WHI president. “In his new role, Jason will leverage his significant industry experience to ensure a continued focus of operational excellence and exceeding customers’ expectations.”
Jason joined WHI in 1993 as an assistant general manager and worked in Cincinnati (OH), Columbus (OH), and Ft. Lauderdale (FL) before serving as a general manager in Athens (OH), Columbus, Tampa (FL), and Cincinnati. Select honors received include Marriott’s General Manager of the Year for service in Columbus and Marriott’s International General Manager of the Year for service in Cincinnati. In addition, the Cincinnati Marriott North was awarded as Marriott International’s Hotel of the Year under Jason’s leadership as general manager.
A graduate of Purdue University, Jason has worked in the hospitality industry for more than 20 years in many different capacities. Jason has served on numerous community and industry organizations, most recently serving as President of the Ohio Hotel and Lodging Association in 2009. He currently serves on the Marriott International Food and Beverage Advisory Committee and the Rooms Advisory Committee.
