SHANGHAI, April 22, 2014 — Invest Hospitality (IH) and Cachet Hotel Group (CHG) today announce the formation of a joint venture hospitality company to be named Invest Hospitality Asia (IH ASIA). The partnership will focus on expanding established brands, developing exciting restaurant and nightlife concepts, and cultivating partnerships with celebrity chefs across Asia. IH ASIA will capitalize on its United States and European relationships to create customized partnerships for hotel, residential, retail and mixed-use developments.
Among its partnership-focused ventures, IH is planning the opening of L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon in cities including New York and Miami. Celebrity chef and restaurateur, Tom Colicchio, is also working with IH to bring the Craft collection of brands to Asian cities.

IH ASIA has appointed Steve Peterson as Senior Vice President of Operations. Peterson brings over 30 years of international hospitality experience including Starwood Hotels, MGM Grand, and Morgan Hotel Group where he oversaw the opening of over 125 properties including celebrity chefs, joint ventures and franchise operations.
IH ASIA will utilize CHG’s existing capital resources and operational infrastructure including David Laris, China’s most celebrated chef, and IH’s portfolio of restaurant and nightlife brands.
By combining these strengths, IH ASIA intends to deliver exceptional value, culinary talent and highly scalable operational systems for aggressive expansion in gateway cities and prime resort destinations across Asia. Cachet Hotel Group has committed to an initial set of restaurants, bars and ultra-lounge developments at its owned hotel properties in Shanghai and Bangkok to support the launch of this new venture. In addition, target markets include international destinations such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Beijing, Chengdu, Macau, Bali and Koh Samui, Thailand.
