ORLANDO – January 22, 2015 – Leading hospitality technology firm Intelity has implemented a new business development program as part of the expansion of its sales efforts in 2015.
The program targets college students and recent graduates interested in sales, marketing and business strategy. It will place them under the mentorship of the company’s newly appointed head of global Sales and Marketing, Dennis Martin.
“Creating this program is aligned with our focus on promoting education and contributing to the future of the travel and hospitality industries,” Martin said. “The goal is to equip young people with the skills necessary to build a successful career in their respective fields and have them assist us in redefining the guest experience for the next generations.”
Participants will see themselves actively involved in the daily operations of the Sales and Marketing departments, with responsibilities that range from prospecting to developing basic email campaigns.
Intelity was the first company to introduce a guest services menu on mobile devices in hotel guestrooms, and the company’s ICE (Interactive Customer Experience™) platform has since been installed in hotels on six continents. The platform currently allows for the largest number of integrations with hotel back-end management systems, including PMS, POS, Ticketing, Spa and Room Controls, than any other available.
