MERRILLVILLE, Ind., April 23, 2015 — White Lodging is pleased to announce the following individuals have been named general managers last quarter across the company.
Alison Brooks has been promoted to general manager of the Courtyard by Marriott in Mesquite, Texas. Previously, Brooks was a sales manager at the same hotel. She also served as the hotel’s operations manager from August 2012 to August 2013. Brooks’ hospitality career started at the Courtyard by Marriott Houston-Galleria where she gained experience as the front desk supervisor and lead guest services representative.
“After being at the Courtyard Mesquite for almost three years, I am excited to be a part of the property’s transformation as it undergoes its long-awaited renovation later this year,” Brooks said.
Logan Wolverton has been promoted to general manager of the Residence Inn Ft. Lauderdale Plantation in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Previously, Wolverton was the assistant general manager at the Hyatt Place Nashville Downtown where she helped open the hotel in 2013. In 2013, she gained experience as a bench general manager where she would assume the role of general manager at an assigned hotel. She has operations and front desk experience at Courtyard, Fairfield Inn and Residence Inn by Marriott brands.
“I’m very excited to now be living in Florida and am ready to ‘skip winter’ having grown up in the Midwest. I love exploring new cities and look forward to what’s to come,” Wolverton said.
Bo Hagood has been named general manager of the Courtyard by Marriott in Schaumburg, Illinois. Hagood joins White Lodging from the Hyatt Place Cincinnati Northeast where he led the hotel as general manager since 2009. His hospitality career began in Indianapolis at the Cooker Bar & Grille and continued at properties such as the old University Place Hotel, Holiday Inn and Hyatt Place Indianapolis Airport. Hagood brings nearly 20 years of hospitality experience to his new role.
“I am very excited to not only join the White Lodging team but to have the great opportunity to lead the wonderful team at the Courtyard Schaumburg,” Hagood said.
Brad Williams has been promoted to general manager of the Residence Inn San Antonio Downtown/Market Square. In 2012, Williams joined the Fairfield Inn San Antonio Downtown/Market Square where he saw the hotel through a renovation before leaving the company in 2013 to become a day trader from home. In 2014, he re-joined the Fairfield Inn team and reprised his role as general manager. Williams brings additional experience from the Hilton Garden Inn San Antonio Downtown, T.G.I. Friday’s in Indianapolis and Courtyard by Marriott in downtown Indianapolis.
“I would like to thank all of the great managers in the past who have taken the time to teach, lead and mentor me. As well as everyone who has believed in me,” Williams said.
Jennifer Curtin has been promoted to general manager of the Homewood Suites Tampa/Brandon in Tampa, Fla. Previously, Curtin was the dual assistant general manager at the Hampton Inn/Hilton Garden Inn West Palm Beach. She began her career with White Lodging in 2010 as a banquet server at the Radisson Star Plaza Theatre in Merrillville, Ind. where she took part in task-forcing at different properties including Brush Creek Ranch in Saratoga, Wyo. for two and a half months. In 2012, Curtin became operations supervisor at the Courtyard by Marriott in Hammond, Ind. and later that year was promoted to assistant general manager at the same property before assuming her dual AGM role in West Palm Beach.
“I’m excited to stay in the same region and produce great results like we were able to do in 2014,” Curtin said.
