MIAMI, May 7, 2015 — Nobu Hospitality announces Nobu Hotel Los Cabos in collaboration with RCD Resorts, the first-ever Nobu Hotel in Mexico. Scheduled to open in 2017, this upcoming resort will be situated on the shores of the famed vacation hotspot – Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The 200-room property marks Nobu Hospitality’s ninth hotel, and is the second joint property between Nobu Hospitality and RCD Resorts following the announcement of the Nobu Hotel Eden Roc Miami Beach. Nobu Hospitality is a private company owned by Chef Nobu, Robert DeNiro and Meir Teper.

Plans for the Nobu Hotel Los Cabos include luxurious accommodations and suites designed with the use of natural materials, and will feature a contemporary and elegant style with inspiration drawn from both Japan and the spectacular beach location. The signature Nobu Restaurant and Bar will be located on the beachfront of the Pacific Ocean delivering the famed Nobu experience framed with a remarkable view. The beach resort will also boast an array of facilities including event and meeting space, a luxurious spa, retail stores, a variety of unique dining and lounging experiences, and much more.
Monica Cuervo and Mark Yoshizaki of WATG—an award-winning architectural firm—are lead architects for the project and Severine Tatangelo of Studio PCH, the architectural designer of the Nobu Restaurant Malibu, is leading the design of the interiors including the Nobu Restaurant design.
