Sales, Catering and Event Software Includes Industry Leading Packages Functionality and Enhanced Integration to Opera PMS

June 10, 2015 – Portsmouth, NH – Newmarket® International, Inc. (“Newmarket”), an Amadeus company, today announced the Athens edition of Delphi.fdc, a cloud based product for Sales, Catering, and Event management.

Delphi.fdc is an end-to-end sales and catering solution designed for organizations that sell and manage meeting and event space. Whether a hotel, stadium, restaurant, or convention center, Delphi.fdc assists sales teams to close more group meeting business, and catering teams to successfully execute on events. Delphi.fdc is a 100% cloud based solution built on the Force.com platform from Salesforce.

The Delphi.fdc Athens edition includes new package features that manage packages from configuration to quote to event execution to final settlement. This includes multiple packages on the same booking as well as event and menu items to provide flexibility for sales and catering managers. The package functionality also includes integration to PMS (Opera) to ensure complete capture of information, and proper execution of the event. Other new features include the addition of Other Income Items, Advanced Booking Merge, and enhancements to the BEO Merge functionality.

Additional future extension capability was also built into the Delphi.fdc Athens edition with integration to the soon to be released PlannerPortal and DirectBook offerings.

PlannerPortal will allow venues to securely share information and collaborate with meeting and event planners to streamline communications and improve group business execution.

DirectBook will provide a streamlined booking experience featuring packaged booking options, RFP and direct booking enabled workflows, combined with real-time pricing and availability all with native package, menu and item exposure.
