Exeter, NH. July 16, 2015 – Hay Creek Hotels announced today that it has been selected to manage the iconic Cranwell Resort in the popular Berkshire destination of Lenox, Massachusetts.
The Cranwell Resort sits atop a hillside on 380 spectacular acres overlooking the Berkshire Mountains. Originally built in 1853, the historic mansion has been expanded over time to include 114 guest rooms and suites, two full service restaurants and a Spa Cafe, 16,000 square feet of meeting facilities, a 35,000 square foot Health Spa (one of the largest in New England), a state of the art fitness center, an 18 hole historic golf course along with indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts and cross country skiing facilities.
The Cranwell is a member of Historic Hotels of America and multi-time award winner, ranked in the Top 150 U.S. Resorts by Conde Nast Traveler, rated on the Zagat Survey of U.S. Hotels, Resorts & Spas, Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, SpaFinder Readers Choice Award, and holds a Four Star Golf Rating by Golf Digest Magazine to name a few recent accolades.
The Resort has been acquired by a private joint venture investment group and will be operated by Hay Creek Hotels.
