Ruby Ochoa brings 10+ years of experience to one of Mexico’s most coveted beach towns
MIAMI, FL – August 2015 – CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa is proud to announce the appointment of Ruby Ochoa as the new Director of Sales and Marketing. In her new role, Ms. Ochoa will oversee all marketing initiatives for the resort, and work closely with management to determine sales strategies across relevant market segments in order to grow awareness and maximize revenues.
Ruby is returning to her native country after a successful tenure as Cluster Director of Sales for the JW Marriott in Lima, Peru and overseeing the opening of the JW Marriott Hotel El Convento Cusco. Bringing more than 10 years of experience in sales management, Ms. Ochoa has been a part of the Marriott family since 2008 when she was hired as a Cluster Sales Manager for JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa and CasaMagna Marriott Cancun Resort.

Ms. Ochoa was recognized with the “Manager of the Year” award in 2009 and the “President Circle Award” in 2010 for exceeding her sales goals. A promotion in 2013 to Cluster Director of Sales for the JW Marriott Lima hotel offered Ruby the opportunity to open the JW Marriott Hotel El Convento Cusco and lead the team to successfully position the hotel as a top destination in Peru.

Ruby holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Business & Tourism from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Mexico. Prior to joining the Marriott family, she worked for Hotelbeds in Cancun, Mexico, Disney Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in Orlando, and Royal Caribbean International in Miami. Ruby is fluent in Spanish, English, and French.
