Web Marketing Association Awards RedLion.com Top Hotel and Lodging Website
Spokane, Wash., Sept. 3, 2015 – RLHC (Red Lion Hotels Corporation) (NYSE: RLH) today announced the company and HeBS Digital were awarded Best Hotel and Lodging Website for redlion.com, earning a perfect score in the WebAwards 2015 from the Web Marketing Association.
“Stunning visuals, modern design, clear calls to action, original content, and a bit of innovation,” were the comments received from the WebAwards 2015 judges. “This is what an award-winning web site should be. Well done!”
“We knew the website was achieving what we set out to accomplish, which was to capture the attention of potential guests and to simplify the booking process,” said RLHC Chief Marketing Officer Bill Linehan. “We also knew the site had to be as functional as it is visual. To receive this level of recognition is gratifying and reinforces we are on the right track.”
Each site is judged on each of the seven criteria, earning a score between 0 and 70 points, according to the feedback received from WebAwards 2015. The highest score in a given category wins Best Website of that industry. If the remaining entries receive a score of 60 or greater, they receive the Outstanding Website WebAward. Entries receive the Standard of Excellence WebAward when their score is above the average of their industry, but below 60 points.

This is the second major website award earned by the company this quarter. In July, RLHC and HeBS Digital earned a 2015 Best in Class Award from The Interactive Media Awards (IMA) in the Hotel/Resort category for its redlion.com consumer website. This award is the highest honor bestowed by the IMA.
