Major brings more than 14 years of management experience to hotel.
Alpharetta, GA – September 15, 2015 – Help us welcome Mr. Courtney Major to the Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta – Alpharetta hotel! Mr. Major brings 14 years of hotel management experience and will be the hotel’s new Director of Sales. This will be Mr. Major’s second tenure with the hotel while previously holding positions as Catering Manager and Corporate Sales Manager in 2007. His career has spanned multiple brands including Renaissance Hotels, Residence Inn, and Embassy Suites Hotels.
Courtney graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Business with an emphasis in Hotel/Restaurant Management. Prior to joining the Alpharetta team, Courtney held the role of Director of Sales at the Residence Inn Atlanta Midtown Peachtree at 17th St. hotel. Courtney was chosen as the new Director of Sales for his ability to connect with guests, make smart and efficient business decisions, and his proven track record of excellence.
As the Director of Sales of this hotel, Courtney’s primary objectives will be to maximize ADR and increase hotel RevPAR. Courtney will be working closely with the hotel General Manager, Cheryl Catrair, and the Corporate Revenue Team to accomplish these objectives.
Mr. Major’s personal interests include fishing, golf, spending time with his family, and anything to do with the University of Tennessee Volunteers. Courtney currently resides in Forsyth County with his wife Lisa and son Aidan.
