NEW YORK, NY – October 15, 2015– Olshan Properties, one of the country’s leading private owners, developers and managers of commercial real estate today announced the first phase of an extensive $11 million dollar interior transformation of the 313-key Hilton Columbus at Easton will be complete this month.
Developed in 2000, and recently renovated, this award-winning, 7-story, AAA 4-Diamond luxury hotel and 30,000 SF conference center is located fifteen minutes from Port Columbus International Airport (CMH), ten minutes from downtown Columbus, Ohio’s capitol and the 15th largest city in the United States, and is a favorite of locals, individual business travelers and groups alike.
“For over 15 years, the award-winning Hilton Columbus at Easton Hotel and Conference Center has been cited for exceeding the expectations of those visiting the Columbus market. We’re delighted to help continue this legacy with this extensive and important renovation,” commented Olshan Properties CEO Andrea Olshan.
Guest rooms are entirely redesigned with rich fabrics, alternating textures, and bursts of saturated color that lend warm layers to the feel of the updated contemporary guest room décor. Responding to the most wished items of today’s busy traveler each room is also furnished with a compact refrigerator and additional bedside power outlets to provide increased functionality for charging electronic devices. Renovated bathrooms feature expansive walk-in tile showers, sleek Moen® fixtures, warm lighting, and a soothing earth tone color palette.
The Hilton Columbus at Easton features numerous dining options. In 2016, a renovated restaurant and concierge lounge on the first floor, lobby bar, and in-room dining will be added to amenities including a fitness center, complimentary airport shuttle, heated indoor pool and whirlpool, and a 10,000 SF grand ballroom.
“We’re very excited with this world class redesign which allows us to maintain the style and ambiance of world’s leading hotels right here in Columbus and we look forward to continuing to provide our guests with the City’s best in class service and accommodations,” added Carrie Richards, General Manager Hilton Columbus Easton.
The hotel’s guest room enhancement has been quietly underway for several months. The modernization effectively upgraded the hotel to 317 guest rooms.
Along with its physical and amenity upgrades, Hilton Columbus at Easton is now one of just a handful of Hiltons to offer Hilton HHonors members the ability to bypass the front desk by using their smartphone as a room key. The new and innovative digital check-in and room selection technology, streamlines the check in process by providing HHonors members the opportunity to check in prior to arrival and go keyless, choose the location of and/or upgrade their room, and request specific amenities to be delivered before arrival, all from a mobile, device, tablet or computer.
