WESTMINSTER, Colo. (Nov. 3, 2015) – Colorado’s Westin Westminster is pleased to announce that it has completed more than $2 million in updgrades to its 370 guest rooms and seven spacious suites.
Designed by Denver’s DLR Group, The new Westin Westminster guest room décor features contemporary furniture with sleek lines brightly accented by shades of blue. The hotel rooms – many with breathtaking Rocky Mountain views – also feature updated soft goods, including luxurious new furniture groupings, work spaces and technology advancements.
The Westin Westminster worked with Denver art curators NINE dot ARTS to place more than 350 vibrant works by Colorado artists in its guest rooms, including art by Jan Fordyce, Jennifer Bobola, Meghan Wilbar and Kevin Weckbach.
“This remodel reflects the hotel’s modern Colorado vibe and we are very excited to share it with guests,” said Westin Westminster General Manager Mike Case. “We are also thrilled to showcase so many gorgeous artworks by talented Colorado artists.”
Managed by Denver’s Sage Hospitality, the Four Diamond Westin Westminster showcases Westin’s premier amenities – including the Westin Heavenly Bed and Westin Heavenly Bath. Ideally situated halfway between Denver and Boulder, the 370-room hotel features more than 60,000 square feet of unique indoor and outdoor event space that can accommodate up to 1,200 people.
Amenities include an indoor heated lap pool, an outdoor spa and a fully equipped fitness center. With 139 state-of-the-art solar panels on its roof, The Westin Westminster was the first hotel in Colorado to be partially solar powered.
The hotel is adjacent to Kachina Southwestern Grill, a unique Sage Restaurant Group concept serving Native American cuisine in a vibrant, relaxing atmosphere.
