TORONTO – InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), one of the world’s leading hotel companies, announces the appointment of Jonathan Lund as Regional Vice President, Canada Franchise Performance Support. In this role, Jonathan oversees the operations of IHG’s 165 franchised hotels across Canada to deliver exceptional results for owners.

Jonathan Lund added: “I am excited about joining the Americas team at IHG and supporting our Canadian franchisees. My experience with the IHG Owners Association has prepared me to understand what owners need and want, and I look forward to helping owners become more profitable and grow their preference for our brands, as well as building the pipeline in Canada.”
Prior to his appointment, Jonathan worked for Fortis Properties as Director of Hospitality Operations, where he oversaw hotel operations, sales and marketing, human resources and asset management, after serving as the Regional General Manager for its Ontario hotels. He also served as the 2015 Chairman of the IHG Owners Association’s Canada Committee and the Association's People Committee. Jonathan holds a degree in Hotel Administration from The University of Huddersfield.
