CHICAGO – Feb. 4, 2016 – Hilton Chicago is pleased to announce the promotion of Kathy Heneghan to hotel manager. A veteran of the hospitality and service industry, Heneghan brings more than 26 years of experience to her new role. As hotel manager, she will oversee the day-to-day management of travel industry relations, quality assurance, guest satisfaction, partnerships, building the meeting and events portfolio and support the on-site team as the 1,544 room hotel finalizes its top-to-bottom renovations.

Most recently, Heneghan served as the hotel’s director of catering and events, director of events and executive assistant manager. Prior roles include the Palmer House, a Hilton Hotel’s assistant director of events and the Hilton Chicago’s meetings and conventions manager, senior catering sales manager and hospitality sales manager.
Heneghan’s outstanding work ethic and leadership have secured honors such as Hilton Worldwide’s director of events of the year, Palmer House’s commitment award and Hilton Chicago’s manager of the quarter. In addition, Heneghan played an intricate role in securing Hilton Chicago’s recognition by Cvent as a top 100 meeting hotels in the United States, New Member of the Year Award from Historic Hotels of America and the IHLA Good Earthkeeping Award.
