Overland Park, Kan. – Feb. 25, 2016 – True North Hotel Group today announced that the Residence Inn by Marriott in Nashua, N.H., and its general manager, Jennifer Brooks, have won the company’s annual Truest North Award for the hotel’s 2015 performance and Brooks’ leadership excellence.
The Truest North Award is presented each year to the True North-managed hotel that achieves exceptional scores in operational and financial performance categories. Also considered in the award are exceptional guest service delivery scores and participation in community “Give Back” initiatives.
The Nashua Residence Inn, managed by True North and owned by Nashua Lodging, LLC, opened in November 2014. That the hotel received this award for performance during its first year makes the award particularly notable.
“Jennifer and her associates have consistently gone above and beyond in delivering superb service to their guests and the Nashua community,” said Richard Merkel, C.H.A., president of True North Hotel Group. “With a new hotel it is sometimes difficult to navigate everyone to the same page, but Jennifer did it within the first year of operation.”

Prior to managing the Nashua Residence Inn, Brooks served for five years as general manager of the Westford, MA., Residence Inn, and was before that general manager at a Hawthorn Suites.
