CUSCO, PERU – March 2016: JW Marriott El Convento Cusco is proud to announce the appointment of Ingrid Chaves as General Manager. In her role, Chaves will be responsible for operations and management for the hotel, as well as determining sales strategies across relevant market segments in order to maximize revenues.

Chaves brings 13 years of experience with Marriott, having managed different aspects of hotel operations through a variety of leadership positions within the brand. Most recently, she was Director of Operations at the Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort, where she played a fundamental role in the implementation and development of “The Beach House” concept, creating diverse initiatives to elevate the customer experience. There, she spearheaded operational efforts that led the property to earn Trip Advisor’s “Best Beach Resort” award, reach paramount Client Satisfaction ratings across the board, and earn the highest brand standard ratings, while surpassing financial goals for the year.
