SAN FRANCISCO (March 2016) – Viceroy Hotel Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Antonio Flores as General Manager at its newest San Francisco property, Hotel Zeppelin slated to open in March 2016; Michel Notten as General Manager at Hotel Zetta San Francisco; and Michael Gonsalves as Area Director of Sales and Marketing at both properties.
“Michel, Antonio and Michael bring extensive backgrounds and experience in hospitality and an overall impeccable vision, each conveying their own special attributes in local market expertise, leadership, and creativity,” says Mike Walsh, Senior Vice President of Hotel Operations for Viceroy Hotel Group. “They are the perfect candidates to develop a unique sisterhood between Hotel Zeppelin and Hotel Zetta while executing optimal service excellence,”
Antonio Flores brings more than fifteen years of experience to his role as General Manager at Hotel Zeppelin. Prior to joining Viceroy, Antonio held positions with Kimpton Hotels as General Manager at both Hotel Triton and The Prescott Hotel, both in San Francisco. He is very excited to be involved with the opening of this exciting new property and cannot wait for the vision to come to life next month.
Michel Notten will be assuming the role as General Manager at Hotel Zetta, bringing fifteen years of experience in hotel management along with him. Prior to joining Viceroy, Michel spent twelve years with Starwood Hotels & Resorts throughout North America, the Caribbean and Mexico. Most recently he held the position of Hotel Manager at W Fort Lauderdale in Florida where he established an impressive track record by maximizing revenues and regularly exceeding guest expectations. Michel is a European native, multi-lingual with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration.
Michael Gonsalves; spearheading sales, marketing and creative vision for both properties; conveys a dynamic background in hospitality, marketing and entertainment. Prior to joining Viceroy, he was a Sales Director at Park Hyatt New York where he led corporate and group contracting with a focus in the entertainment and fashion markets. Michaels nine years of experience with Hyatt is preceded by several years of talent coordination with E! Entertainment Television.
