MEMPHIS, Tenn. – March 17, 2016 – The Guest House at Graceland, a new 450-room resort hotel, has named hospitality veteran Michael Pramshafer as vice president of sales and marketing. Situated only steps from Elvis Presley’s Graceland® in Memphis, The Guest House at Graceland, is currently under construction and scheduled to open October 27, 2016.

“We are thrilled to be bringing Mike on board to lead our dynamic sales and marketing team,” said Vice President and Managing Director Keith Hess. “His significant experience will be a strong asset to The Guest House at Graceland.”

Prior to joining The Guest House at Graceland, Pramshafer served more than two decades in the hotel industry in Las Vegas, including the position of vice president of sales at SLS Las Vegas; vice president of resort sales and marketing at Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa; vice president of convention sales and marketing at Tropicana Resort & Casino; executive director of sales at Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower; and director of sales at Harrah’s Hotel & Casino. He also served as vice president of hotel and gaming sales at Cable Beach Resorts & Crystal Palace Casino in Nassau, The Bahamas.

Pramshafer holds a bachelor of arts degree from Eastern Illinois University. He is currently relocating his family to Memphis.
