DALLAS (May 16, 2016) – DHISCO Inc., the world’s leading hospitality distribution company, has hired travel industry veteran Lori King as vice president of its Global Implementation and Interface Services division, CEO Toni Portmann announced today.
In her new role, King will oversee the delivery and integration of enhanced technology across DHISCO’s global customer base, with the objective of providing faster, more direct access to the company’s growing suite of products, which connect hotel companies with travel sellers around the world.
Portmann said the role is crucial for DHISCO as it continues to bring on new global partners while improving technology for its existing client base.
“Lori King brings a wealth of experience and expertise to managing large, parallel implementation projects across a diverse hospitality customer base,” Portmann said. “Her role will be to improve our service delivery, planning and execution to ensure that all of our clients have fast, easy access to our latest products and features.”
King will report to DHISCO COO Greg Berman. Concurrent with her appointment, Berman renamed the department, formerly known as the Global Implementation Services division, to include interface services.
“This change underscores our continued commitment to adding new functionality for our clients, as we facilitate increased bookings and drive their success,” she said.
King comes to DHISCO from Sabre Holdings, where she served in several travel-platform product implementation and marketing roles over the last six years. She most recently was global program director, responsible for developing structures, tools, tracking and reporting as well as coordinating the company’s platforms. She also led the launch and execution of platform migration for more than 250,000 customers globally, which at the time was described by top executives as the best product rollout in company history.
King is a graduate of Baylor University, Waco, Texas, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration for finance and information systems.
